Visit Sharjah Book Fair Criteria and T&C

Criteria:

• Participants should upload their blog piece on the website (link provided on our social media pages).
• Participants can upload images/videos to support their blog piece.
• Participants’ blogs must be only of Sharjah and should be about one of the Three main themes (Culture and heritage, Food & street food and Adventure)
• Participants can submit as many blog pieces as they want.
• Blog pieces should be between 300 - 400 words.
• Blog pieces must not contain illegal content, profanity, obscenity, discriminatory or disparaging statements or content that violates a third party’s rights.
• Participating in this competition entitles SCTDA to use your blog post on visitsharjah.com where your name will be mentioned as the writer.
• Participating in this competition entitles SCTDA to amend/edit the content before getting published on Social Media platforms of Visit Sharjah or on visitsharjah.com.
• For participants below 18 years old, the prize can only be given upon appearance of their guardian.

Terms and Conditions:

• Participants must be UAE locals/ UAE residents /Sharjah residents or have visited Sharjah.
• Competition will end on the 25th of November 2018 – Participants cannot submit blogs anymore.
• Winners will be chosen based on a review process by dedicated SCTDA members.
• 3 Winners will be selected after the exhibition ends and will be contacted with the prize’s details through the email provided upon registration. In case there was no response from the winners within (15) days from the first announcement, or in case any of the winners violates any of the competition's rules, the next in line will be chosen as a winner.
• These official rules of the competition are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE and are the exclusive jurisdiction of any dispute related to the Sharjah Courts.
