December 2024 sees the Emirate of Sharjah hosting the F1H2O UIM World Championship for the 23rd year. The fast speed action, display of skills and sportsmanship make this a sport like no other, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats race after race.

ultimate adrenalin rush and is regarded as one of the most spectacular and exciting sports in the world.
The F1H20 Sharjah Team was launched in 2019 under the initiative of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority’s (SCTDA). The idea for the team was born out of the urge to foster talent, enhance the competitiveness of formula speed boat racing and attract legendary racers from around the world. The team has since proved its mettle in several grand prix.

There is even a shop selling Emirati farm produce. The futuristic development is conveniently located seven minutes from Sharjah Airport and 20 minutes from Dubai Airport. Set to be completed by 2028, the self-sustained city will feature an entertainment complex designed by Zaha Hadid Architects amongst other attractions.
This new beach development, stretching over
3.5km shoreline overlooking the Arabian Gulf, features a skate park, jogging tracks, cycling paths and play areas for kids. The beach also has dining options, so visitors can make a day of it while enjoying the cool weather. The skatepark will feature a range of ramps and ‘street obstacles’ for various extreme sports which include skateboarding, roller skating, scootering and bicycle motocross. A special pump track around the outside of the park offers a section for younger kids, with dedicated safety regulations and measures.

The largest safari outside Africa, Sharjah Safari is home to more than 120 species of animals, which live in Africa and up to 50,000 animals, ranging from birds, reptiles and mammals; such as lions, elephants, giraffes, black and white rhinoceros, crocodiles, deer, bulls and many other endangered animals, living in 12 different environments. There are more than 100,000 African Acacia trees in the Sharjah safari, which includes flora of both local and African origin.
